Is this new mascara worth the $35 price-tag? Read more to see my thoughts and what it makes my blond lashes look like!

About the Product

Cost: $35
Where to Buy: lancome.ca, Select Shoppers Drug Marts, Lancome Counters & Sephora

Lancome claims that this mascara will wide-angle fan effect. They have incorporated a "swan-neck". Honestly every time I hear this, or look at this mascara I just think of Adam Sandler.

Sorry sorry, I think it's hilarious. Anyways, I will talk more about the swan wand in the packaging section. This product has got a lot of social media press and such because some people where lucky enough to get it as part of their influencer voxbox. I am sure we will be seeing lots of reviews so I wanted to get mine out there quickly!

Packaging

So of course, we know Lancome for adding a little bit of luxe to our life. The package is sturdy, and the flower on the top is pretty much my favourite part of the package. My only kind of "gripe" with the package is the fact that the top doesn't feel like it's all the way tightened...it feels like you should be able to secure it a little more. I just worry it will cause the mascara to dry out faster, but only time will tell!
The swan neck did help with application, I found I could get into my inner corner a little bit easier. I don't think it's as innovative as they claim, it's a titch of a gimmick but it does work well.

So basically, wow. I was pleased with 1 coat, it does have a fast dry down so if you don't work fast coat #2 can look a touch "spidery". It didn't leave my lashes feeling stiff, it really gave the fanned out effect and just wow. This might seriously become my favourite mascara! The application was so smooth and relatively even. Well done guys!

Final Thoughts

So I mean, the photos should speak for themselves but this is a MUST have for any mascara lover. I am totally blown away by this stuff, it really held the curl and looks amazing. Don't be fooled by the gimmick-ness/adam sandler-ness of this. It is truly a great new launch from Lancome. They continue to be my favourite brand for mascaras!

Have you tried this mascara? Do gimmick's make you want to try a new product?

Lastly,
STOP LOOKING AT ME SWAN!

Until next time!
