Packaging
Obviously my package is from a limited edition collection. I'll base my opinion on the original packaging, which is the same shape of tube, in a sleek black with small flowers. The weight of the package is nice, it feels sturdy. | The packaging to me, looks like a drugstore mascara. It is clearly not higher end, it has the metallic finish that a lot of mass brands have. It is also very light and feels less expensive. You get what you pay for though guys! |

The Brush/Wand
As you can see with the Doll Lashes, the product is evenly distributed on the brush. You don't see excess product on the tip, that could cause major clumping. It is also a sturdy brush, and I enjoy the longer handle. I find that is something that a lot of Mass brands keep missing. | The brush on the Miss Manga collects wayyy too much product. The tip is drenched in mascara. I HATE the stupid latch thing. It makes the brush feel sooo flimsy and like I don't have full control. It has the shorter handle and I find the large handle is awkward to hold on to. |

Application
First off I will say that, this is on my eye that I basically sleep on, so the lashes are a little wonky. This applies evenly (as expected), and only takes 2 coats to get my desired look. I like how my lashes are even from root to tip, the product didn't deposit a large amount at the root. One downside is that you can really see that it isn't as black as the "blackest black" from Miss Manga. | So as expected this took a little more effort to ensure I didn't end up with too many clumps. It wasn't an even application, and it was almost like sometimes it would look okay and others it was yucky. It was a little unreliable. The overall effect once you have worked with the product is very pretty though, you just need extra time and some patience. |

Wear/Removal
Lancome Doll Lashes does not flake on me. I do get watery eyes so I find I get a tiny bit of running in the corners of my eyes. Other than that it lashes well. Removal is easy, just some Bioderma on a cotton pad and voila! | The wear on the Miss Manga is impressive. The black stayed true to colour all day, no flaking, no running. The lashes feel a bit stiffer with the Miss Manga. Removal was the part that was a pain, it needed a true waterproof makeup remover...even though the one I purchased was not the waterproof version. |

The Champion Is....

Of course, the price is much steeper and their is nothing WRONG with the Miss Manga mascara, I just prefer how the Doll Lashes performs.
I am very picky with my mascara..and my makeup in general. Do I still think that Miss Manga is worth the $10.99 price tag? Yes. Do I think it is a good mascara? Yes. Would I reach for it OVER my Doll Lashes? NO.
After reading my review, do you think it's worth shelling out the extra $21? Have you guys tried Doll Lashes or Miss Manga? Leave your comments below! And don't forget to follow me on all the snazzy social media apps.
