"Never let anyone with bad brows tell you shit about life" Said some photo on Instagram. Click read more to see products that I used and how I used them. If you don't like my brows...well then...You are welcome to leave :)

Tools

So these are my current tools. I honestly own a crazy amount of brow products, so my routine changes often. These are the ones I am loving right now. The basic principles still apply for the routine though.

  1. Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Correcting Pen in Shade 1 *
  2. MAC Cosmetics 208 Brush
  3. MAC Cosmetics Wedge Eyeshadow
  4. MAC Cosmetics Brow Pommade/Gel/Creme in Redhead

Step One: Have groomed eyebrows

Picture
This is a very important step. Its hard to fill in brows that have hair all over the place, or have been over plucked. If you guys are interested in knowing how I actually groom my brows, just let me know and I'll do a separate post ft. my grooming products/tools.

Now I have blond eyebrows because I am a ginger, so it is hard to actually see that I have eyebrows. My routine involves a little more filling in compared to most people, since they have no pigment on their own.

Step Two: Outline

Picture
Using the MAC 208 brush, I dip it into the Redhead brow gel/wax whatevertheheck. I make sure that my brows are measured out properly. I do need to take the end out a little bit so that the brow frames my face right. I find this point by take the handle of the 208 brush and lining it up with the side of my nose and angling it past the outer corner of my eye. This is a general rule of where your eyebrow should end.

Step Three: Fill

Picture
Using the same two products I fill in the brow area. I just do small strokes and make sure to not have the brow too heavy on the part closest to the nose. That just makes them look "sharpied" in.

Step Four: Set/Powder

Picture
Now the colour of the redhead brow product from MAC is a little too orangey for my tastes. I like to tone down the colour and the slight shine with Wedge eyeshadow from MAC.

Step 5: Conceal/Highlight

Picture
Just to ensure that the edges are seemless on my brows and also to give a nice highlight, I take the Arden corrector in shade 1 and outline my brows. I use my finger to gently pat this in. I don't do this everyday, mostly cause it doesn't make a huge difference for me because I am super pale, so highlighting isn't something I do really. Make sure you don't use TOO light of a shade, or else it looks like your brows have this odd white outline around them. NOT sexy.

Step 6: Look at yourself, damn you look good. (Complete)

This are the finished product! Brows make a huge difference for me because of the fact that it looks like I have none if I don't apply mine. I have been doing my brows for years because as a ginger, I was made fun of for looking like I had none. All this means is that I have had time to make all the mistakes, the two big brows, the too long brow, wrong colour etc...Any MUA/girl who says that they haven't had nasty looking brows at least once in life in lying. We have all done it, now it just a good time to practice and try some out.

Do you guys have any brow horror stories? What are your fav. Brow products?
